New Delhi, April 12 - A 21-year-old man was beaten to death by his father after he asked the unemployed man to find work, police said Saturday.

Vivek was spotted lying in a pool of blood by a neighbour at his house in south Delhi's Dabri area. He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The father, Kuldeep, told police that his son, who worked in a private company, used to force him to earn money, which made him unhappy.

Police said Kuldeep was arrested from the house and an iron rod used in the crime was recovered.
