New Delhi, April 17 - Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth made a remarkable leap of nine places in the latest Badminton World Federation - men's singles rankings released Thursday.

Backed by his semifinal appearance at the recently concluded Singapore Open Super Series, where he lost to World No.1 Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia, the Hyderabadi has risen to a career-best ranking of No.16.

Parupalli Kashyap, on the other hand, maintained his 19th position.

No Indian figures in the top-25 of men's, women's and mixed doubles rankings.
