"The commission however sent a notice to Ramdev seeking an explanation of his remarks within three days."
New Delhi, April 30 - The National Commission for Women Wednesday issued a notice to yoga guru Ramdev for his remarks on Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and Dalits.

Ramdev said in Lucknow Friday: He - goes to Dalits' houses for honeymoon and picnic. He apologized Saturday, saying he was misinterpreted.

The commission however sent a notice to Ramdev seeking an explanation of his remarks within three days.

His remarks hurt the dignity and sentiments of Dalit women. What he said is highly condemnable, a commission member said.
