Los Angeles, May 1 - Singer Beyonce Knowel paid tribute to one of her biggest fans Chelsea Lee James after the young girl lost her battle to cancer.

The singer sent a bouquet consisting 90 white roses along with a handwritten note to James' family, who died April 21 at the age of 15, reports contactmusic.com.

The family posted a picture on Facebook, which showed the flowers and the message attached.

The note read: Donna, love and prayers to you and your family. Chelsea was a beautiful girl and I am so happy I was able to meet her. She touched my heart and I will never forget her.
