"She also accused Bhatt of preventing Tiwari from taking her phone calls. She clarified that she is not interested in staking claim on Tiwari's property."
Lucknow, May 1 - A police complaint was lodged against senior Congress leader Narayan Dutt Tiwari's security personnel by Ujjwala Sharma, the mother of his son Rohit Shekhar, for trying to create a wedge between them for property.
A few days back, Sharma was stopped by security personnel from accompanying the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister following which she lodged a police complaint against the officer on special duty - Bhawani Bhatt.
The 70-year-old retired lecturer of the Daulat Ram College in New Delhi told IANS that all she wanted was to look after Tiwari in old age.
This comes weeks after Tiwari admitted before a court that Rohit Shekhar was his biological son.
He has accepted our son and with the same relationship in mind I want to be with him in the sunset years, she told the police in a complaint that alleges that Tiwari's OSD was trying to ensure that she and her son do not live with the ageing Congress leader.
She also accused Bhatt of preventing Tiwari from taking her phone calls. She clarified that she is not interested in staking claim on Tiwari's property.
After a protracted legal battle over Rohit Shekhar's parentage, the two sides had settled the matter out of court last month when Tiwari accepted Rohit Shekhar as his biological son.
