Baghdad, May 15 - As many as 22 people were killed and 65 wounded in separate attacks and suicide bombings across Iraq Thursday, security and medical sources said.

The deadliest attack of the day occurred in Baghdad during morning rush hours when a car bomb and two suicide bombers detonated at a court and a nearby police headquarters, killing 10 people and injuring 46, Xinhua quoted a police source as saying.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the deadly attacks.

In Anbar province, some 50 km from Baghdad, five militants were killed as clashes erupted between Iraqi army and gunmen, a provincial police source said.

Meanwhile, four people were killed and 10 wounded by artillery and mortar shelling on several neighbourhoods in Fallujah, a medical source said.
