"I think the most important thing is to always be involved in every aspect of their life. To give them enough trust that they can share things with you. I don't want them to be terrified of me, you know?, said Wahlberg."
Los Angeles, May 23 - Actor Mark Wahlberg wants to be involved in every aspect of his children's lives, but at the same time he would like to discipline them.

The 42-year-old, who has kids Ella, ten, Michael, eight, Brendan, five, and Grace, four, with wife and model Rhea Durham said it is important for him to have a close relationship with his family so that the children aren't terrified of him, reports contactmusic.com.

The actor said that maintaining a close relationship with kids doesn't mean he won't administer discipline when needed.

I think the most important thing is to always be involved in every aspect of their life. To give them enough trust that they can share things with you. I don't want them to be terrified of me, you know?, said Wahlberg.

But I don't want them to think they can do whatever they want and get away with it, either, because they can't, he added.
