Islamabad, May 27 - At least 16 people were killed and eight others injured Tuesday when a truck they were travelling in fell into a river in Pakistan.

The accident happened in Swat Valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Dawn online reported.

Those killed included five women and 10 children who all belonged to the same family, police said. The injured were shifted to the Kalam hospital.
