My alert staff informed me about the #fire in I & B ministry. Nobody is injured and all are safe. Presently I am in Pune, Javadekar tweeted.

Javadekar also said his personal staff are assisting the fire brigade.

Our secretary, officers and my personal staff are on the spot and i have asked them to cooperate with the fire brigade officials, he said in a second tweet.

He further tweeted: It seems committee room and some staff rooms have been damaged. We will take stock of the damage once the fire is doused fully.
