Jakarta, June 19 - Top Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal progressed to the women's singles quarterfinals of the $750,000 Indonesia Open Super Series Premier at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno Stadium here Thursday.

The eighth seed needed only 36 minutes to overcome Scotland's Kirsty Gilmour 21-17, 21-9 to take a 3-0 lead in career meetings over the World No.17.
