"Om Prakash, who worked with a telecom service provider, had called her June 21 to meet him in Noida. He later told the police that his wife did not come to meet him, following which the deceased's parents lodged a missing person report on the same day."
New Delhi, June 24 - A 26-year-old man was Tuesday arrested for killing his wife and dumping her body near a metro station here, police said, adding their marital relationship was strained.

The body of 23-year-old Neetu was found inside a trolley bag near the Mayur Vihar Metro station early Tuesday.

Neetu, who stayed with her husband Om Prakash in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad, had come to visit her parents in east Delhi's Kalyanpuri area a few days ago.

Om Prakash, who worked with a telecom service provider, had called her June 21 to meet him in Noida. He later told the police that his wife did not come to meet him, following which the deceased's parents lodged a missing person report on the same day.

On the basis of suspicion, Om Prakash was rounded up and he confessed to his crime. He told the police that he killed his wife, a police official said.
