"We have zeroed-in on six-seven sites for manufacturing 'Pran Dhara' bottled water in all shapes and sizes. The operations started in March in one of the sites and the first lot of water bottles will be available at stores starting from Durga Puja (in September), Mukherjee told IANS."
Kolkata, June 24 - Bottled water manufactured by the West Bengal government will hit stores across the state starting this Durga Puja, a minister said Tuesday.

The state government has forayed into producing good quality bottled water at a cheaper price than the ones available in the market, said Subrata Mukherjee, minister of public health engineering and panchayat and rural development.

We have zeroed-in on six-seven sites for manufacturing 'Pran Dhara' bottled water in all shapes and sizes. The operations started in March in one of the sites and the first lot of water bottles will be available at stores starting from Durga Puja (in September), Mukherjee told IANS.

The plants at Siliguri, Coochbehar, Malda, Murshidabad, Purbasthali, Haringhata and Barrackpore will be pressed into service in a phased manner while the one at South 24-Parganas is functional.
