New Delhi, July 3 - Monsoon finally hit the national capital Thursday, after a delay of a few days. The Met Office has forecast constant rains in the next few days.

Monsoon has finally hit Delhi and there will be constant rains for the next few days, Durai Swamy, scientist at India Meteorological Department (IMD), told IANS.

Earlier, the Met Office forecast that monsoon would reach Delhi by June 29.

The rainfall has brought relief from the soaring temperature in the city.
