Mumbai, July 23 - A benchmark index of Indian equities markets Wednesday was trading 93.64 points or 0.36 percent up as capital goods stocks surge.
All the sectors were trading in green and the rally was led by capital goods, IT and banking stocks.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) of the S&P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 26,130.26 points, was trading at 26,119.44 points (at 09.24 a.m.) in the early session, up 93.64 points or 0.36 percent from the previous day's close at 26,025.80 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 26,173.73 points and a low of 26,114.46 points in the trade so far.
