New Delhi, July 25 - The Delhi government has asked former public works department minister Manish Sisodia to pay an outstanding house rent of nearly Rs.2 lakh.

We have issued a notice to him (Sisodia) to pay Rs.1,99,596 as his outstanding house rent, said a PWD official on the condition of anonymity.

A notice was issued May 22 to Sisodia to vacate the house, but he vacated it only on June 30, the official added.

As a minister in the 49-day Aam Aadmi Party government, Sisodia was allotted the government flat in Mayur Vihar Phase II in east Delhi.
