New Delhi, Aug 2 - Flights were diverted due to bad weather after rain lashed the national capital and its adjoining areas Saturday leading to clogged roads and traffic snarls.
Around nine flights were diverted due to bad weather, an official of the Indira Gandhi International Airport here told IANS.
The rain, which lasted for close to an hour, led to clogged roads in many areas, including GTB Nagar, Civil lines, Yusuf Sarai, Green Park, Lajpat Nagar, Aurobindo Marg, R.K. Puram, Saket, Malviya Nagar and Anand Prabat.
