London, Aug 11 - Singer Sinead O'Connor says she is an irregular woman and doesn't care what people think.

I gave being a regular woman a good few tries. There is pressure to be a regular woman from the minute you're born, so I was duty-bound to try. But I'm irregular. I don't try not to be irregular anymore, she said.

The 47-year-old has learned to accept and love herself no matter what.

She said: I have learned to love myself unconditionally. When people used to say that thing to me about 'You have to love yourself before you can love anybody,' I had no idea what they were talking about.

But I'll be 48 in December, and I think that as you get older, it becomes obvious. Sometimes we have to find out by fing up. You know what I mean?
