New Delhi, Aug 12 - Indian origin-American actress Devika Bhisé says she is fortunate to play the female protagonist in Matthew Brown's upcoming project The Man Who Knew Infinity, a biopic on Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.

While Dev Patel will play Ramanujan, Devika will be seen as his wife Janaki.

Based on the biography of the same name by Robert Kanigel, the film also stars Oscar Award winner Jeremy Irons who plays Ramanujan's mentor, G.H. Hardy.

I feel fortunate to be able to portray such a rich character who has had a fascinating life, Devika said in a statement.
