Kolkata, Aug 13 - Budget carrier SpiceJet Wednesday inaugurated its first flight connecting Kolkata-Bagdogra-Kathmandu at a promotional offer of just Rs.99.

According to the low cost carrier, the second service to Kathmandu will operate three times a week-- on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The airline already operates on the Delhi-Kathmandu route. The airline said 5,260 customers had already booked their flights on the Kolkata-Bagdogra-Kathmandu service.

The company has deployed its Boeing 737 next generation aircraft on both the routes.
