New Delhi, Aug 21 - Thirty-four minors, aged between nine and 17 years, were Thursday rescued from several jewellery-making units in the capital, police said.

Police arrested 11 employers and sealed nine units in Karol Bagh area of central Delhi.

The raids were conducted Thursday in Adarsh Nagar and Karol Bagh areas, based on inputs by a non-governmental organisation.

The children hail from West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, and were brought to Delhi in the past few months, police said.
