New Delhi, Aug 29 - A speeding bus crushed a woman to death at a bus terminus here leading to mob violence in which two DTC buses were set on fire and several others damaged, police said Friday.

Narayan Devi, 50, of Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district was crushed to death by a DTC bus at about 8.30 p.m. Thursday at a bus terminus in Sultanpuri in west Delhi.

Following the incident, a huge crowd took out a march, pelted stones and smashed the glasses of several DTC buses.

The crowd gathered at the spot and torched two DTC buses. The mob also damaged about half-a-dozen other buses, the official said.
