New Delhi, Sep 4 - The AAP Thursday demanded the removal of CBI director Ranjit Sinha, after the Supreme Court asked an NGO to file an affidavit over Sinha allegedly meeting, at his residence, people being investigated by the agency.
The Aam Aadmi Party also said the central government can no longer remain silent over the issue of such seriousness.
The Aam Aadmi Party demands that the centre, which has access to all the records pertaining to visitors' diaries of the official residence of the CBI director, should immediately order a probe into the matter and remove Mr. Sinha from his post, till the inquiry is completed, the AAP said in a statement.
