Madrid, Dec 16 (IANS/EFE) Spanish and Moroccan security forces Tuesday arrested seven members of a network that allegedly recruited women for a terror group operating in Syria and Iraq, Spain's interior ministry said Tuesday.
The arrests took place in the Spanish cities of Barcelona, Ceuta and Melilla, and in Castillejos in northern Morocco, according to a statement.
In Spain, security forces arrested four women, including a minor, as well as a man.
Two more men were taken into custody in Morocco.
Police were searching for more people who may have linkage with the network, the ministry said.
