New Delhi, Dec 24 - The national capital experienced yet another chilly and foggy day Wednesday that affected flight and train movement.
According to the Met Office, the visibility dropped to 150 metres at 8.30 a.m.
A total of 74 trains coming to the city were running late while 44 trains' departure time had to be rescheduled. Another nine trains were cancelled, said an official of the Northern Railway.
Air services were also affected as over 70 flights were delayed, an official with Indira Gandhi International Airport said.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled six notches below the season's average at 15.9 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 5 degrees, three notches below average.
The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 97 percent.

There will be dense fog tomorrow (Thursday) morning and the day will be mainly clear, said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
