Mumbai, Aug 25 - Mozez Singh's musical drama Zubaan will be the opening film of the 20th Busan International Film Festival which is to be held in South Korea between October 1 and 10.

Amongst the biggest film festivals of Asia, Busan International Film Festival will, for the first time, have a Bollywood musical opening the fest.

The screening will also be the world premiere of the drama which also features the Masaan actor Vicky Kaushal and actress-singer Sarah Jane Dias.

It is the ultimate honor for 'Zubaan' to have its world premiere as the opening film for the Busan International Film Festival. For me this film is a passion project and the fact that it has been selected for this momentous occasion makes me believe that we did something right, and I am eagerly looking forward to sharing what promises to be a terrific experience with my cast and my producers, Singh said in a statement.
