Air India engineer commits suicide

Mumbai, July 12 - An Air India engineer Monday committed suicide at his residence in suburban Santa Cruz here, a police official said.

Ritik Bhattacharya, 30, was an aircraft maintenance engineer. 'He was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his house in Kalina area of Santa Cruz - this afternoon,' said a police officer at Kalina Police Station.

Bhattacharya left behind a note saying no one should be held responsible for his death.

Bhattacharya was reportedly transferred to Goa and was preparing to move there.
