Two more swine flu cases in Bengal

Kolkata, July 30 - Two more people tested positive for swine flu in West Bengal Friday, taking the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 93 this year, the health department said.

'Two confirmed cases of swine flu were reported today -. The total confirmed cases of H1N1 infection are now 93. The total deaths are three during 2010,' the department said in a statement.

A total 29 people are admitted to hospitals due to swine flu and two of them are critical, the department said.

Three people died of swine flu earlier this month, becoming the first three victims of the disease in West Bengal.

In 2009, a total 135 people were affected by swine flu in the state. However, there were no casualties then.
