"Manila, Aug 11 - A quake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale Thursday jolted the northern parts of Philippines but there was no report of damage or casualty, Xinhua reported."
 
Manila, Aug 11 - A quake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale Thursday jolted the northern parts of Philippines but there was no report of damage or casualty, Xinhua reported.

The tremor occurred around 10.50 a.m., with the epicentre 23 km northwest of Calayan islands, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
