New Delhi, Nov 16 - It was a sunny day in the capital Wednesday with the maximum temperature being recorded at 29.4 degrees Celsius, one notch above average.

'The minimum temperature settled three notches above average at 15.6 degrees while the humidity wavered between a high of 87 percent and a low of 40 percent,' said an India Meteorological Department - official.

The Met office predicted a misty Thursday morning and said the sky will remain clear throughout the day.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 30 and 16 degrees, respectively.
