Los Angeles, Sep 12 - Singer Melanie Chisholm, aka Mel C, says her daughter transformed her into a brave person.
The Spice Girls member was shy in some parts of her life, but her 3-year-old daughter Scarlet Starr changed her.
One of my overwhelming feelings was that I had to make Scarlet proud of me. This made me brave in areas where before I'd been shy, hellomagazine.com quoted her as saying.
I never expected the changes that came with being a mum, she added.
The 38-year-old enjoys staying back home with daughter and having the first meal with her.
Now I enjoy the feeling of being settled at home with her. My favourite part of the day is having breakfast with her. Scarlet astounds me with her maturity. She'll give me a cuddle and say, 'Are you OK, mummy', she said.
Mel C was in a relationship with property developer Thomas Starr whom she met in 2002. However, the couple separated in July this year.
