New York, June 19 - Ethan Hawke, the Oscar nominated star of 'Training Day', says he became an expert in learning dialogue because he wanted to impress women.<br><br>Hawke says: 'I did the memorisation to improve my memory. When I was 16, I memorised the first 15 pages of 'Catcher in the Rye', pagesix.com reported.<br><br>Hawke revealed this during a dinner at the New York Public Library Lions programme. He added: 'I only let girls know I was doing it. I convinced myself I would use it for an audition somewhere some time - but really I did it to woo chicks.'<br><br>
