Patna, June 20 - BJP general secretary Rajiv Pratap Rudy Thursday said Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was jealous of the rise of his Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi and suffering from 'namo-nia'.
Nitish Kumar should consult a doctor for treatment of namo-nia, Rudy told the media here.
A day after Nitish Kumar targeted Modi without naming him during a speech in the assembly, Rudy said the Janata Dal-United leader was jealous of Modi.
Nitish Kumar is unable to tolerate the rise of Modi and his popularity across the country, Rudy said.
On Sunday, the JD-U ended its 17-year-long alliance with the BJP while JD-U leader Sharad Yadav resigned as convenor of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.
