India free from swine flu virus: Official
New Delhi, May 9 - India continues to be free of the H1N1 swine flu virus, a health ministry official said here Saturday.
The official said 30 samples tested in in India were found negative and four samples were still under investigation.

Mexico changes swine flu death toll to seven
Mexico City, April 29 - Mexican authorities corrected the number of people killed by swine flu to seven from a previous 20.
At least 159 people have been killed by flu infections in Mexico, Health Minister Jose Angel Cordova said.
On Tuesday, 1,311 people remained hospitalised out of a total of 2,498 suspected cases, he added.

Container carrying swine flu virus explodes on Swiss train
Lausanne -, April 28 - A container for transporting swine flu virus samples exploded on a Swiss train, authorities said Tuesday, but stressed that there was no danger to the public.

Death rate from swine flu slows down in Mexico
Mexico City, April 28 - Mexican Health Minister Jose Angel Cordova Villalobos said late Monday that the number of people dying from an infection with the mutated swine flu virus rose slower than expected.
Six people died on Saturday, five on Sunday and three Monday, Cordova said. The number of new infections was also slowing down, from 145 registered new cases to 110 in the past 24 hours.
